We had the opportunity on August 10 to photograph the Good Samaritan Inn’s Culinary Cookoff 2023. This is the second year we’ve been able to partner with the wonderful people at GSI for this incredibly fun event.

The food was prepared by Richland Community College’s Culinary Institute and GSI’s own, Chef Rachel Wear. Ultimately, the victor of the evening was Chef Rachel and her INCREDIBLE ratatouille.
One of the things I love about this event is seeing people from all over the community come together for an awesome event, and raising money to support the work that Good Samaritan Inn does in the greater Decatur, Illinois area. The food is to die for, the drinks are great, the live auction items are incredible and the programming is always a party. This year Pizzazz the Band tore up the stage and Abbi McKinnie made beautiful portraits during the event.
